Skopje’s Population in 1881

The Varied Population of Uskub (Skopje) consists of Turks of Europe, Turks of Asia, Albanians, Bulgarians, Greeks, Jews, Gypsies and Germans. Once more the so-called “Ethnic Macedonians” are nowhere to be found.
