FYROM’s PM Gruevski’s Personality Cult Oil-On-Canvas Paintings

A gallery in Skopje is mass-producing a variety of Gruevski personality cult pictures in oil technique which represent the current VMRO-DPMNE PM of FYROM in stately poses, depicted by “artists” in style of social realism. Depending on the authors and painting, cost varies from 500 euros for one to two paintings on oil for 300 euros. The mass-manufactured images are pronounced representatives of kitsch that is omnipresent in this authoritarian/totalitarian state.
