These people are tought in school, with absolute contempt of History and for political and geograpghical gains, that they ( skopians) are the "real" Macaidonias. And that we, the Hellenes, are just the usurpers of History. Said that, i would like to add that the modern political leadership of Skopia perpetuates that "Myth" harming very much their country and leading them to a dead end. The sooner they realize that the better for them and us. I hope that more sober and realistic policy will be adapted from those people for the good of all.
