
Many American missionaries came through Macedonia during the 19th century and gave us their first hand accounts about the land,the populations and the ethnicities they met e.t.c. Off course no one mentioned ever any ethnic <Macedonians>. Instead they reffer to the ancestors of today's Scopians as Bulgarians. Let's see the <Boston missionary magazine>,1839:
