Kastoria is one of the most beautiful cities of Macedonia (Northern Greece) and it is the capital of Kastoria Prefecture. It is situated on a promontory on the western shore of Lake Orestiada, in a valley surrounded by limestone mountains. The town is known for its Natural Beauty, its many Byzantine churches, Ottoman-period domestic architecture, and trout.
