Skopje. Although the “Macedonian” government avoided answering questions related to the name issue, it is clear that following the recommendation of the European Commission to start negotiations for “Macedonia’s” EU membership and the demarcation of the border with Kosovo the chain around the “Macedonian” government leaders for compromise with Greece is slowly tightening. “Macedonian” journalist Sonia Kramarska writes in a text published in Utrinski Vesnik newspaper.
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and ministers who are directly involved in the process of European integration does not want to admit it, but the pressure of international factors, increases with every passing day. European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso sent a message for solving the name issue after EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn’s message. So far, however, these messages seem to hit a wall.
