Macedonia was considered by Greeks and others as a Part of Greece back in 1828. Another Account which verifies this fact comes from the book “Greek Revolution” by John Comstock. The book was published in 1828.  

  Macedonia, while under the rule of the Ottoman empire, was mainly inhabited by Greeks, Turks and Bulgars.
